As the year comes to a close, it’s time to reflect on the remarkable milestones and successes we’ve achieved together as a global community. From ambitious plans to on-the-ground impact, this year has been a testament to what we can accomplish when united in purpose.  

Driving Impact Across Europe

The Plan of Action (PoA) for Europe was based on four main goals:

• Marketing & Brand Awareness of JCI Europe
  • Professionalization of our presence on Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn, updated Website and growth of audience with the help of a Marketing Agency
• Leadership Development
  • Offer of relevant trainings and leadership development opportunities for the members
• Cross National Organization Cooperation
  • Organisation of Regional Growth & Development Academies
  • Sharing of Best Practices & Knowledge across National Organizations
• Vision of JCI Europe in 2040
  • Workshops to develop / sharpen the vision of JCI Europe

Therefore the PoA set an ambitious course with 26 targets, and we’re proud to report that 24 of these were either fully or partially achieved. This result underscores the dedication and hard work of our members, the National Organizations and Team Europe in bringing our shared vision to life.  

Involving Members by Sharing Information

EVP Manuela and members of her Board, VP Georgina, VP Laurence, VP Fatih, EDC Chair Ulla, JCI Europe Treasurer Marie-Gisèle, Executive Assistant Susan and Growth and Development Director Oana offer a comprehensive, yet entertaining overview of the implementation status of the goals, provide further relevant information on membership figures, senatorial honors and the work of the JCI Foundation and report on their experiences.

Global Initiatives in Action

On the international stage, all 33 of our **global initiatives** were successfully implemented. These initiatives served as powerful vehicles for advancing our mission and fostering collaboration across borders.  

Milestones in Organizational Development 

This year saw one of our National Organizations JCI Armenia take a significant leap forward, transitioning from Potential to Provisional status. This development reflects the growth and maturation of our global network as we continue to empower young leaders worldwide.  

Additionally, preparations are well underway for the re-establishment of JCI Spain, a move that holds immense promise for reinvigorating our presence and impact in this dynamic region.  

Support for Local Projects

With the backing of the ‘JCI Foundation’, we supported a range of impactful projects. These initiatives showcased the creativity and commitment of our members to addressing pressing local challenges and driving sustainable development.  

Empowering Leaders through International Academies 

We hosted 4 Regional Growth and Development Academies (RGDAs) this year, providing emerging leaders with the tools, knowledge, and networks to strengthen their communities and expand our reach.  Also several National Organizations organised Academies, i.e. JCI Sweden the European Academy or JCI Scotland the Debating Academy.

Strengthening Connections Through Official Visits

Building bridges and fostering relationships remained a top priority. Our Vice Presidents and EDCs conducted 48 official country visits, while our Executive Vice President added another 7 to the tally. These visits deepened our connections and reinforced our commitment to collaboration.  

Looking Ahead

As we celebrate these achievements, we also turn our gaze to the future. The successes of this year inspire us to aim even higher in the coming year. Together, we will continue to create positive change, empower leaders, and build a better tomorrow.
